Q: I can't capture image from DVD. I follow your help instructions but get a 'black screen' instead of DVD frame.
A: 'Prevent Black Screen' option doesn't work with all DVD players. Many of our customers have good results with PowerDVD player.
If you have no PowerDVD, you can try the following trick:
(you only need a standard Windows Media Player 10 or higher)
  1. Open your DVD disk with help of any file browser, copy the .VOB files to your hard drive and rename them to .MPG
  2. Run Mr. Captor and check the 'Prevent Black Screen' option
  3. Double click the .MPG file and run Windows Media Player
  4. Click the 'Capture Screen' hotkey while playing

If you have RealPlayer, you don't need to copy .VOB files to your hard drive. Simply drag and drop .VOB file onto RealPlayer window. Also make sure you check the 'Prevent Black Screen' option and run Mr. Captor before RealPlayer.
You can download a FREE copy of RealPlayer at: http://www.realplayer.com

Q: Why does the help not work on my system?
A: User needs to have IE4.01 or higher installed to use HTML Help. As a rule the IE4.01 or higher is a part of distributive for Windows 98/2000/XP and is installed automatically. But some old systems such as Windows 95/NT don't include it. You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer at the Microsoft site: http://www.microsoft.com

Q: The menu isn't captured. Is this a bug?
A: Some new menus appeared in Windows 2000 has a complex style and can't be captured by the 'Capture Menu' command. Use the 'Windows Capture' command instead. Turn the Multeselect mode on and select all windows of menu.

Q: Windows unexpectedly rebooted after I inserted the image via the drag-and-drop operation and then tried to resize it
A: Unfortunately, on some systems this error occures. We hope Microsoft will fix it in a future.
