You don't need an additional Icon Extractor to extract icons from Windows PE files.
Mr. Captor provides a built-in function for icons / cursors / bitmaps extraction.
You can extract icons from Windows PE files, edit and save it in various graphical formats.
To run this function click the File | Extract from EXE, DLL main menu command.
The Extract dialog will display. Select a PE file to extract from, then select an image
(icon / cursor / bitmap) to extract. Finally, click the Extract button to
place the selected image into Mr. Captor's main window. When the extraction is finished, you can edit, print, email, publish an image as it would be captured from the screen or loaded from the hard drive.
You can also make your own icon from any image.
But Mr. Captor is not only the tool for icons grabbing/making!
It can grab anything you see on the computer desktop: the whole
screen, various areas (non-rectangular too), windows, a groups of windows,
scrolling windows, controls, menu, cursors, colors and more. Can record screen activity
