Hotkeys Page (Preferences)

Hotkeys are the keyboard sequences.

They work as long as Mr. Captor is running and enable the user to capture when the program's main window is unavailable. Hotkeys also provide a way to capture those things that can't be captured by another way: menus, cursors, splash screens etc.

See Using Hotkeys for details.

Main Page

Capture Frame

Capture and save the region as a file. You should perform at least one capture before the capture of frame to set the region (the program remembers the coordinates of the last captured region). See also the Options | Preferences | Timer/Video page.

Capture Screen

Capture the entire screen.

Capture Window

Capture a window or a group of windows. See the Windows capture topic for details.

Capture Active Window

Capture an active window.

Capture Region

Capture a region. See the Region capture topic for details.

Capture Fixed Region

Capture a fixed region. See the Capture of Fixed Region topic for details.

Capture Menu

Capture a popup menu. See the Menu Capture topic for details.

Capture Cursor

Capture the mouse cursor. See the Cursor Capture topic for details.

Capture Color

Activate hotkeys

Activate/Deactivate hotkeys.

Note: Some hotkeys can conflict with the other programs. Be careful.
If some key conflicts with another program try to change it or deactivate it by selecting the None item from the drop-down combo box.
You can also deactivate all hotkeys if needed by unchecking the Activate hotkeys checkbox.
