Extracting images from resources

Mr. Captor can extract images from resources. Images can be icons, cursors or bitmaps. .EXE, .DLL, .OCX, .CPL, .SCR files are supported.
To extract an image from resources use File | Extract menu command. Extract dialog box will display after executing this command.
Select a file then select the image from the list and press the Extract button. The image will be extracted and placed into the main window.
You can filter resources by clicking the radio button in Resources radio group, located at the left side of dialog.

Note: You can't extract images from files, compressed by special programs. If you select such file, the program informs you about the images can't be extracted. If you nevertheless need to extract an image, try to find the compress program used and decompress a file before extraction.
