Sending as E-mail

To send the image as the E-mail attachement click E-mail button on the Toolbar or use the Send as E-mail menu command.
Mr. Captor can use both MAPI and SMTP. Click the Use MAPI for mail sending on Options | Preferences | Other page to switch the mode.
The dialog for SMTP-mode has the following view:

E-mail dialog

SMTP SMTP server

Port SMTP server port

From Sender's address

To Recepient's address

Subject Subject of message

Text Message's text

Attach as Select how you wish to attach the image. You can attach the image as BMP, GIF, JPEG and PNG.

Use authorization If checked, the mail client uses authorization to connect to SMTP server. Consult your administrator about the server's settings.

Username User's name

Password User's password

Enter the values and press OK button to send the message or Cancel button to cancel sending.
Each new message is sent in the separate thread so you can send the several messages simultaneously and continue your work immediately after the OK button was clicked.

If you prefer to use the MAPI mode your system should have the MS-MAIL installed. In this case you will see the MAPI dialog box instead of built-in one.
Note: For both MAPI and SMTP modes the program uses current settings for the selected graphical format. For example, if the loaded GIF image has a transparent color and settings for GIF don't specify a transparency, the image will be sent as non transparent one.
By another words: the image will be converted according to the current settings. Be careful.
Use the Savings button to change the current settings if needed.
