Toolbar, Capture Bar and Status Bar


Toolbar


Toolbar is a set of buttons located under the Main Menu and providing a quick access to the menu commands:

Toolbar

To display or hide the toolbar, toggle the Toolbar option on the View Menu.

Buttons:


Open Open an existing image. Mr. Captor displays the Open dialog box, in which you can locate and open the file you wish.

Save Save the active image to its current name and directory.

Send as E-mail Send the image as the E-mail attachement.

Crop Create a new image from the selected area (see Image Editor).

Copy Copy the selected area to the Clipboard.

Paste Create a new image and insert the Clipboard data into it.

Undo Reverse previous editing operation.

Undo Reverse previous UNDO command.

Image Editor Invoke built-in Image Editor.

External Editor Invoke an External Image Editor.

Print Print the active image.

Selection Enable/Disable selection.

Zoom Out Zoom Out the current view.

Zoom In Zoom In the current view.

View Images Gallery View the Images Gallery.

View as HTML background View an image as HTML background in default browser.

Scale View Change view size.

Savings View/Change current savings.

Preferences View/Change current preferences.

About Display the About dialog box.



Capture Bar


Capture Bar is a set of buttons located at the left side of Main Window and providing a quick access to the menu commands:

To display or hide the capture bar, toggle the Status Bar option on the View Menu.

Buttons:


Region Capture Capture a region.
Fixed Region Capture Capture a region of fixed-size.
Screen Capture Capture the entire screen.
Windows Capture Capture a window or a group of windows.
Scroll Capture Capture a scrolling window.
Color Capture Capture a color at a specified point.
Repeat Capture Repeat a previous capture.
Frame Capture Capture a frame and save it.
Start/Stop Timer Start/Stop the timer.
Include Cursor If checked, includes the mouse cursor into a snapshot.
Hide Before Capture If checked, hides the main window before capture.
Capture Frames/Video Records video.


Status Bar


The status bar is displayed at the bottom of the Mr. Captor's Main Window:

To display or hide the status bar, toggle the Status Bar option on the View Menu.

The left area of the status bar describes actions of menu items as you navigate through the menus. This area similarly shows messages that describe the actions of toolbar buttons as you depress them, before releasing them. If after viewing the description of the toolbar button command you wish not to execute the command, then release the mouse button while the pointer is off the toolbar button.
The left area of the status bar also shows the coordinates of cursor while it moves over the image located into the working area.
The middle area of status bar displays the coordinates of the selection.
The right area of the status bar displays the selection's width and height.
