DirectX Mode

  • None
  • Method 1 ( hooking )
  • Use this method to capture still images from DVD or Media Player. Now this method works with Windows Media Player, PowerDVD, WinDVD, KMPlayer and Presto!DVD.
Note: At the moment this method doesn't work with some media players like Sonic CinePlayer and others low-level media players.
In this case use Method 2 instead.
  • Method 2 ( locking )
  • Use this method to record video from Internet or Media Player
Note: Some DVD players don't work if this option is turned on.

If the Method 1 is selected, the <Capture Screen>/<Capture Frame> commands capture still images from DVD.
If the Method 2 is selected, all commands work as usual.

Note: you need to start Mr. Captor before the Media/DVD player!
